The Higher Vocational College Sežana - provides two study curricula: Designing Materials and Photography. The length of the course is 2 years. The interweaving of theoretical knowledge and craftsmen's skills lays the groundwork for the education process which is thus organised in the form of lectures, seminar theses and laboratory exercises. Additionally, in each academic Year the students participate in 10 weekly practical training courses given by commercial companies or craftsmen.
The Danish Folk High Schools - offer non-formal adult education. Most students are between 18 and 24 years old and the length of a typical stay is 4 months. You sleep, eat, study and spend your spare time at the school. There are no academic requirements for admittance and there are no exams - but you will get a diploma as a proof of your attendance.
